✉️ Untracked Shipping Option
More flexibility for low-value orders.
Right now, tracked shipping is required when sending orders. We’re working on adding the option to use untracked letters for low-value shipments, so sellers can offer cheaper delivery when tracking isn’t necessary.
This will make small orders easier to handle, while still keeping safeguards for higher-value shipments. More flexibility, lower costs, same control.

Delivery Prices Switzerland
We have untracked Letters A Priority from 1 to 100 Gramm that cost only 1.20 and not 5.80
tracked letters are 6.10 so there is a difference. I was looking to sell some magic cards that i dont need for my commander decks and eventually buying for new decks butt the Delivery Prces are horendous. Since Card Market fucked us over with VAT Prices. Some People here in Switzerland are frustated. Card Nexus could be something good for us. ;)

Hello!
At the moment we only do tracked for user safety but we are soon implementing untracked shipping!
Just want to be transparent though regarding VAT, this isn't a Cardmarket choice, it's Swiss law (Art. 20a MWSTG, effective Jan 2025). Any platform that facilitates sales of goods, where the contract is concluded on the platform and the platform earns a commission, is legally considered the "deemed supplier" and must collect 8.1% VAT on all CH-destined orders once it crosses the CHF 100k threshold.
We're not there yet, so for now Swiss buyers aren't charged VAT by us, but when we do reach that threshold we'll have the exact same obligation as Cardmarket. No platform can get around it, we'd rather be upfront about it now than have it be a surprise later :(

Yes please add untracked shipping, it’s the same in Switzerland. I’ve made sales on CM and 80% of them are untracked and under 20EUR. These sales wouldn’t have made economical sense with the “tracked” surchage. I’m coming from the “Les Joueurs du Dimanche” video and I think they did not pick up on that

Remove Mandatory Tracked Shipping
Please consider to remove the mandatory tracked shipping and make it optional. The additional costs for tracking instead of normal letter (at least here in Germany) almost double the shipping cost.
At the big EU competitor platform (CM) the majority of my buys and sells are without tracking and I never had a problem and saved a lot of money. This high shipping costs here at CN are a big stopper for me at the moment as a buyer.

Thanks for your feedback. We definitively gonna allow simple letter pretty soon, but we wanted to start with tracking first, to be sure to protect both buyer and seller from any fraud. As we are a new platform it’s essential that are user feels safe using the marketplace. I’m gonna create a ticket in our roadmap so you’ll be able to follow on this !
