Various things I noticed during my first use

Adding cards for the first time feedback: using the bulk import

• Unsure what "show only selected" is for, but this should be "Only show selected", so just a grammatical change,

• It resets the sorting every time you search for a card, so i sort by collector number, but when searching for a card, it resets to best match,

• No colorless color identity option,

• No colorless color (very cool that there is a difference between color identity and color, very useful imo),

• UI looks good, easy to use,

• Wanted to add all my blue cards by collector number, so sorted by collector and then blue identity, but it also shows all multicolor cards that have blue, at both settings, in TCG Home there was a only/at most/including/not dropdown menu above the color picker,

• Seeing how many cards you are adding in bulk and the value of them before pressing import, very nice

Feedback about inventory:

• Doesn’t remember sorting either, I always want to see my top value cards at the top but it sorts on name,

• Doesn’t remember zoom level, I have an ultra wide monitor so the default zoom is too mall, i zoom in once, but after refresh it resets,

• Same thing as above for the amount of cards shown, default is 24, I always set it to 96 but it resets (an all option would be very cool/nice for me),

• Can’t search for oracle text, like every card that has a landfall ability, or every zombie creature, or for set name without using filters,

• No colorless color (identity) filter, again very nice it has a color filter and color identity filter,

• UI looks good, easy to use,

• Really cool that when you apply set/expansion filter you already see how many cards of that set you have,

Feedback about lists:

• Really cool you can track set collection, need to figure out how to make it get 1 card of any art style instead of an entry for full art and default version of a card and foil/non-foil,

• really cool that you can see the entire value of a set like that too

Regarding the Oracle text

I discussed all these items already with Tristan on discord, I came with the idea to add a toggle to search oracle text. Since searching for Oracle text is time consuming for the system and you obviously don’t want to slow things down for other users or flood them with unwanted results, a toggle would be a perfect solution.

One of the things i loved about TCG Home is that i can search for zombie, and also see all lords for example. so cards like all zombies get +1+1, or the example form before, building a muldrotha landfall deck, i can check edhrec for cards, but maybe i have some hidden gems that i can use instead of a more expensive card. So a “Search card text” toggle would be a perfect compromise between speed for normal users and extra options for power users like me.

Final note

All in all, cardnexus looks amazing and is my main collection tracking app and the only one where I’m adding new cards. I tried a few different ones after TCG Home shut down, but this is imo by far the best one. So don’t take this as (bad) criticism, it works great, I love the UI, the funny pieces of text while something is loading/importing are just a chefs kiss. I’m really happy I found you guys and I hope my feedback helps and is valuable to your team
